SATA Azores Airlines has just added three new payment methods to its website: MBWay (available for Portuguese cards), Bizum (available for Spanish cards) and instant bank transfer (in this case, clients are redirected to their online bank account, where they can sign in and approve the transaction).
Intending to simplify the purchasing experience on the website of the airlines Azores Airlines and SATA Air Açores, these new options guarantee simple and quick payments using the smartphone or the app itself.
After completing their online booking, clients will be able to choose between several payment methods: Multibanco (Entity/Reference), MBWay, Bank Transfer, Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) or Paypal, among other solutions designed to the several countries where Azores Airlines operates, namely Bizum, Ideal, Sofort, Belfius, ING and Bancontact.
As members of the frequent flyer program, they can also choose to use miles on their SATA IMAGINE card, through the Cash&Miles option (available for flights operated by SATA Group’s airlines), deducting the value corresponding to the chosen fare.
The electronic ticket is issued immediately after payment, in any of the options, and the respective invoice can be requested on a specific form.
